I have specialized in crystal glazed porcelain vases, jars, and plates for nearly 20 years. I was captivated by them from my earliest days attending Dr. John Conrad’s Clay and Glaze Technology classes at San Diego’s Mesa College in the early ‘80s. These glazes, and the unique forms that I create for them, produce a most compelling and sweeping artistic statement. While many potters are reluctant to work with porcelain and crystal glazes – each can be quite temperamental – I revel in them. The results speak for themselves. Opening a new kiln full of finished pieces is like Christmas to me because of the treasures I discover inside.

Each piece of crystal-glazed porcelain in the Showroom is personally designed, hand-thrown, assembled, and fired. Beneath the foot of each piece is my own unique signature mark, a mark of artistic authenticity.
